On May 29, 2015 a visiting session within the seminar “Risks and threats from pollution sources (on the example of the Lower Danube region)” will be held in Vylkove village (Odessa region, Ukraine). The aim of the event is to conduct a public discussion on the development of risk-management plan in this region, starting from discussions on the current state of pollution in the Lower Danube region, identification of environmental risks and existing threats.

The seminar takes place in the framework of the project “Inventory, Assessment and Remediation of Anthropogenic Sources of Pollution in the Lower Danube Region of Ukraine, Romania and the Republic of Moldova» (MIS-ETC 995), which is funded by the European Union through the Programme Romania-Ukraine-Republic of Moldova and will result in an increased level of cross border cooperation for addressing common environmental threats.
