The implementation period of the project “Improvement the response capacity of Mobile Emergency Service for Resuscitation and Extrication (SMURD) through a joint integrated system for efficient monitoring and disaster consequences mitigation, in regard to population in the common boundaries Romania, Ukraine and Republic of Moldova”, MIS ETC Code 989, reached its end with a great impact on the improvement of medical and emergency services across the cross border area.

Through this action, the leading partner, General Inspectorate for Emergency Situation (Ministry of Administration and Interior), along with its partners: General Inspectorate of Aviation – IGAv – RO and the Ministry of Internal Affairs/Civil Protection and Emergency Situations Service – CPESS-MD (Republic of Moldova), aimed to improve the prevention and management of emergency situations, to upgrade the planning and coordination of human and specialists and to enhance the management of material and financial resources.

Taking into account that the project has performed most of the activities foreseen, we also proudly present the planning of the final conference for this large scale project. The event will take place during the upcoming period, in Iasi, Romania, between the 9th and 12th of December, 2015.
