The fourth meeting of the Joint Monitoring Committee of the Joint Operational Programme Romania – Ukraine – Republic of Moldova 2007 – 2013 was held in Suceava on October 1st , 2010.

In the meeting, the list of the projects to be funded under Priority 3 – “People to people co-operation” was approved. The Joint Monitoring Committee decided to increase the amount allocated to this priority from EUR 5 millions to EUR 7.6 millions, for a number of 62 projects.

This list will be sent to the European Commission in order to verify any overlap with other programms and to avoid double funding.

The meeting was attended by members of the Joint Monitoring Committee of the three countries participating in the program (Romania, Ukraine, Republic of Moldova), representatives of the Joint Managing Authority (Ministry of Regional Development and Tourism), European Commission, RCBI, INTERACT ENPI and Joint Technical Secretariat (Regional Offices for Cross Border Cooperation Iasi and Suceava).

The Joint Monitoring Committee members also debated and agreed on the main features of the guidelines for grant applicants for the second call for proposals.
