The ENPI CBC closing & ENI CBC launching conference took place in Brussels on November 14th and November 15th, 2016.

Participants from the partner countries and from the European Commission revealed the benefits that the cross border cooperation in this context has produced for the comunities in border areas.

The results of the comparative analysis of the European Commission presented that the Joint Operational Programme Romania-Ukraine-Republic of Moldova has aroused particular interest among potential financing beneficiary, is in second place (from 16 programs), regarding the number of applications submitted. Also, a remarkable result was achieved by the program in terms of participation of partner countries in (non-EU) projects; Joint Operational Programme Romania-Ukraine-Republic of Moldova is the most balanced in this regard.

Regarding the Projects funded by the European Neighbourhood Instrument (ENI), currently there are efforts made by the European Commission and the partner countries to sign financial agreements, bilateral documents between the European Commission and (non-EU) partner countries, underlying the implementation of these programs by establishing responsibilities of this countries.
