On September 27, the Operational Programme Romania-Ukraine-Republic of Moldova organized a series of events in Iaşi, that were meant to increase awareness among the general public on the benefits of cross-border cooperation and on the achievements of the Programme. Thus, more than 700 people of all ages had the opportunity to share experiences, skills or project ideas, music, literature, theatre and movies, in a cross-border context.

During the first part of the day, in front of the Palace of Culture, the partner organizations within the SMURD projects financed by the Programme (which drafted common work procedures for the Romanian and Moldavian structures and which procured specific equipment for such emergency rescue services, including a medical helicopter) have undertaken a demonstration exercise and the general public was invited to attend.

Then, beneficiaries of cooperation projects funded by the Programme from the three countries involved delivered a show for next few hours, on the stage installed in the public garden in the vicinity of the Palace of Culture, while a project exhibition, a graphic arts exhibition with a common focus on the border, a theatre workshop and a movie projection, all took place simultaneously.
