The final balance at programme level (unspent pre-financing and ineligible expenditure) was agreed by the European Commission and it was reimbursed by the Joint Managing Authority on the 29th of June 2021.
The Joint Managing Authority would like to thank all the project beneficiaries and partners, as well all the programme authorities in the participating countries for the contribution to the implementation of the 2007-2013 programme.
Nevertheless, project beneficiaries and partners are kindly reminded that their involvement might still be needed in the following period (open-to-control period of 7 years after payment of final balance for the project), should the European Union competent bodies and/or the Joint Managing Authority (JMA) needs access to project documents or sites.

The Joint Managing Authority, and the various beneficiaries, contractors and partners with which it signs contracts for the implementation of the projects, shall be subject to controls by the Commission, the European Court of Auditors and the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF).
